Having left the Marlow premises the club were without any means of running/testing trains,
building a new test track became a priority.
A set of baseboards were built to create an oval 10 feet long by 6 feet wide.
The most common gauges have been catered for, O gauge, OO gauge and N gauge.
A dual gauge track, G+O was added which is used regularly by our G gauge modelers.
The second OO gauge was installed during 2016. A third rail to this is now being installed to EM gauge.
The club own some gaugemaster handheld feedback controllers for DC locos.
These will just plug into the appropriate socket for the smaller gauges.
They cannot be used on O and G gauges due to current limitations.
Members may bring there own control systems including DCC which can be plugged into any of the tracks.
The test track is erected on the first Monday of each month.
If that clashes with a bank holiday then it will be put up on the following Monday.
