Polcombe Regis is an N gauge layout built to fine scale standards with hand made track to be like a moving picture with trains running through the landscape. As an O gauge modeller who enjoys building locomotives I wanted a layout where I could watch trains go through the rolling countryside.
As an imaginary location in southern England in Dorset where a variety of local traffic, holiday specials and freight would have run through the sleepy backwater station of Polecombe Regis on its way to a channel port and seaside destinations.
The has been built over the last winter and is still work in progress with detailing, weathering and finishing touches being added. Rolling stock is all ready to run and again in the process of being detailed.
