Little Hister represents an O Gauge Southern Region (LSWR) branch line terminus located on the South Coast of England. The period is set in the late 40’s early 50’s. The station supports a thriving seaside town and it's rural community.
The Little Hister branch runs out of Hister Junction which is on the main line from Waterloo. Hister Junction has a connecting line to the Great Western Railway which is some miles further north. There are regular passenger and mixed freight branch line services as well as direct passenger services from London with carriages being split-off from the main line services to the West Country.Infrequent through GWR services, or specials, run to Little Hister in the holiday season.
