MMDMRC have been in negotiation with our landlords to provide space for extra storage.
Agreement has been reached that we can purchase a portakabin. We have managed to source one 24' x 10'. It is pre-owned and has been refurbished with new carpet and heater. Lights and several mains sockets already being installed. Externally it has had a repaint into 'Railfrieght light Grey'??

Saturday 10th September.

Tony and Andy on site again today to install steps for the new cabin.

Firstly Tony Checks the level of the cabin. Spot On.

Looking into the cabin from the door.

Checking the level of the base slabs.

How good is that.

Plenty of mortar for the column.

Temporary treads laid down.

The tread will be permanently fixed another day when the cement has gone off.

Tuesday 6th September.

The Lorry arrives from Wales with our cabin

Reversing into Mill Lane.

Chairman Mark sees the lorry through the main gate.

In position to lift.

Up and away about to swing into position.

Moving towards the landing pad.

Just about to put it's feet down.

It's down in its final position, and the door opens ok.

That's it. All we need now is the electrician to fit the Mains Supply.

Saturday 27th August.

The site was prepared by Tony and Andy one Saturday Morning. Four pads were constructed from blocks and slabs to achieve a level. As you can see the site has a reasonable slope. The 2 slabs were levelled on mortar on the left, however we had to use 3 blocks high to achieve the level on the right.
