Pollington is an imaginary terminus station which was build by the Southern Railway on the North Coast of Devon. Due to the geographical location both the Southern Region and Western Regions of British Railways run in the area.
Pollington is a very busy seaside resort in the summer months with many holiday makers enjoying the fine sandy beach and boat trips from the small harbour.  Many tourists arrive at Pollington on summer special trains from London and the Midlands which bring a varied selection of locomotives and stock to the station.
The harbour is a busy port on the Bristol Channel, the local fisherman can be seen bringing in their daily catch, many goods are exported and the harbour is also popular with sailing yachts.

On the mainline which runs along the coast many trains can be seen rushing to the resorts of Devon and Cornwall. The mainline joins the Pollington Branch and allows both freight and passenger services access to the national network.
Pollington is built to British N gauge standards, the track is Peco finescale track throughout. All the building are modified kits or scratch built. The scenery has been made by club members using fairly standard procedures and products – the main challenge being the water in the harbour.
All stock is standard ready to run items which have been modified, detailed and weathered
